| 13 July | film | X-Men First Class at Surrey Quays - Well put together, quite a thorough back story to the X-Men and where they come from. Decent movie. | ![]() | |
| 13 July | book | Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin - Gripping, fantastical epic story based on an honourable family taking on corruption in the highest places. Spawned an equally awesome tv series. | ![]() | |
| 3 July | film | Transformers 3D at West India Quay - Really enjoyed this but had to suspend all sense of reality. Transformers were brilliant, and it is emotional at times. | ![]() | |
| 14 May 2011 | training session | Paragon Gym in Shoreditch - Saturday morning catch-up training session. Not too tough, feeling much better about fitness levels after the trip to Nepal. | ![]() | |
| 13 May 2011 | restaurant | Yellow House in Surrey Quays - Fairly pricey especially for this neck of the woods. Specialises in pizzas but they do a wide variety of typical British food too. Pizzas were great, as was a brownie for dessert. Service was slow. | ![]() | |
| 9 May 2011 | gym session | for 1 hour - First body pump class in about a month and it was great... however my muscles felt the pain for 3 days. | ![]() | |

| 4 May 2011 | pub | Nothing but the Blues bar in Soho - Met up with an old friend Cara and her boyfriend here and stayed for some wicked music. Jimmy and the Blues Dragons was the name of the band. Free entry, open till well after 12, awesome place. | ![]() | |
| 3 May 2011 | training session | Paragon Gym in Shoreditch - 1st session of the Level 3 course with our new teacher Hazel. A few intimidating stories floating around regarding her fearsomeness but she seems nice enough. Killer session though. | ![]() | |
| 20 April 2011 | holiday | to Nepal for 10 days - Short trip to Nepal to help our friends Nik and Sara celebrate their engagement\marriage. A completely different experience to all other countries I've visited. | ![]() |
